Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a qualified RF systems specialist in Stafford, VA. The role involves supporting antenna platforms, RF signal transmission, and system lifecycle management, with a focus on accurate drawings and documentation.

Travel up to 15% and a 1st shift with occasional weekend coverage are expected. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, experience with RF test equipment, and the ability to obtain SECNAV access and a CI poly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or a master's degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with RF transmission systems and related electronics.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds, and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on large antenna platforms and RF systems.
• Support lifecycle management of RF signal transmission systems.
• Ensure system-level drawings and documents are up to date.
• Analyze problems and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate customer requirements and design system changes to meet requirements.
• RF test methods.
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve problems.
• Perform corrective maintenance and integrate approved modifications.
• Support IPTs and recapitalization efforts from requirements to testing.
