Job summary

WR Systems in Virginia Beach is seeking an RF Engineer to analyze sensors and antenna systems, recommending optimal configurations to boost performance and operational capability.

The role requires 10+ years in systems engineering with RF experience, and a Bachelor's in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering. Active Secret clearance is required to start. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of full-time experience in systems engineering with two years in RF-related areas.
• Experience with MATLAB RF/toolkits for analysis and testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RF cascade analysis and propose design improvements.
• Perform digital RF spectrum analysis and testing for performance validation.
• Analyze, develop, modify, test, and maintain RF systems and related infrastructure.
• Verify and validate system performance to meet requirements.
• Diagnose RF issues and suggest improvements for existing and new systems.
• Support system design, development, and testing activities.
• Possibility to serve as technical lead for project tasks.
