Job summary

CircuitHire Ltd. in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to lead the development of next-generation RF hardware for space applications.

You will own the full lifecycle from concept through deployment, collaborating with software, hardware, and FPGA engineers to turn complex challenges into robust, production-ready solutions. You will design RF front-end architectures, perform hardware bring-up and lab testing, oversee PCB layout, and manage component qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of RF hardware from concept to deployable solution.
• Develop RF front-end architectures and transmit/receive circuits including amplifiers, filters, frequency conversion, and signal generation.
• Analyze and optimize end-to-end RF performance: sensitivity, noise, gain, linearity, signal integrity.
• Oversee PCB design and layout for robust RF performance, grounding, and thermal management.
• Perform hardware bring-up, lab testing, performance validation, and fault diagnosis.
• Manage component selection and qualification.
• Extensive RF and microwave hardware design experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience owning multiple programs.
• Space industry experience is a plus.

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing space technology company in Los Angeles to find an experienced RF Engineer to play a pivotal role in the development of next-generation communications technology.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of the full product lifecycle, from RF electronics design and manufacturing through testing, integration, and deployment. Working closely with a small, highly technical team of software, hardware, and FPGA engineers, you’ll help turn complex engineering challenges into production-ready solutions supporting a diverse range of space customers.

• Lead the development of RF hardware, taking designs from initial concept through to deployable solution


• Develop RF front-end architectures and transmit/receive circuits, including amplifiers, filters, frequency conversion, and signal generation.

• Oversee PCB design and layout, ensuring robust RF performance, signal integrity, grounding, and thermal management.

• Extensive RF and microwave hardware design experience with demonstrated end-to-end ownership


• Previous experience owning multiple programs
