Job summary

Lam Research in Oregon is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to design, develop, and evaluate RF delivery systems for embedded applications. You will join a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical, software, and process engineers to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

The role requires strong knowledge of EM theory, RF metrology, and high-voltage design, with hands-on experience in SPICE, LabVIEW, MATLAB, HFSS, and Comsol. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
Knowledge of EM fields theory and RF metrology (Power Meters, Network, Impedance and Spectrum Analyzers).
Familiarity with high voltage design rules/practices (DC - 100 MHz) is desirable.
Experience with modeling tools (HFSS, Comsol) and data analysis is preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Graduate eligible role.

Responsibilities

Perform professional electrical engineering research, design, development, modification, and evaluation for electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary design team on embedded systems components.
Design, test, and document RF delivery systems (100 kHz to 100 MHz; Watt to Kilowatt).
Prepare and execute test plans and demonstrate compliance with technical requirements.
Collect and analyze material/data for design and program reviews.
