Job summary

Lam Research is seeking an RF Engineer in Oregon. You will design, test and optimize RF delivery systems for advanced semiconductor equipment, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, software and process teams.

You will apply EM theory and RF metrology expertise to deliver high‑reliability components, handle HV design considerations, and analyze test data. Expect hybrid on‑site and remote work options and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
Knowledge of EM fields theory and RF metrology.
Experience with high voltage design rules (>1kV) DC–100MHz is desirable.
Proficiency with SPICE, LabVIEW, MATLAB and RF analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Perform professional electrical engineering research, design, development, modification and evaluation in support of electrical and electro‑mechanical systems/subsystems.
Work with a multidisciplinary design team on embedded systems components.
Design, testing and documentation of RF delivery systems (100kHz to 100MHz; Watt to Kilowatt ranges).
Prepare and analyze test plans to ensure requirements are met and demonstrated.
Collect and analyze data for design, project and program reviews.
