Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking an RF Electrical Engineer III in Oxnard, CA to design, prototype, and test RF circuits at the module and component level. You will join a small, collaborative team and work on state-of-the-art RF/microwave technology to support warfighters.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in high-reliability aerospace/defense electronics, experience with RF simulations, and the ability to transfer designs to production. DoD clearance on day one is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in high reliability, aerospace, or defense electronics product development.
• Experience using RF simulation software (Microwave Office or AWR, ADS, HFSS).
• Broad experience troubleshooting RF/Microwave, analog, digital, and mixed signal circuits at the module and component level.
• Broad experience with RF/Microwave test equipment.
• Experience transferring new designs to production.
• Active DoD security clearance required on day one; eligible for Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the detailed design of RF circuits.
• Develop functional specifications for sub-assemblies and integrated microwave assemblies.
• Responsible for the release of engineering design documentation.
• Provide guidance for the development of automated product testing.
• Collaborate and effectively communicate with cross-functional development teams.
