Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking an RF Electrical Engineer III for our Oxnard, CA location. You will design RF circuits, develop specs for sub-assemblies, and release engineering docs while guiding automated testing and interfacing with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a DoD security clearance on day one or eligibility for Secret clearance and offers opportunities to work on state-of-the-art RF/microwave products for defense applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Typically requires minimum 4 years in High Reliability, Aerospace, or Defense Electronics product development/manufacturing.
• Experience using RF simulation software: Microwave Office, AWR, ADS, HFSS.
• Broad experience troubleshooting RF/Microwave, analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits at module/component level.
• Experience with RF/Microwave test equipment and production transfers.
• Active DoD Security Clearance required on day one or eligible for Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design RF circuits in detail and document specifications.
• Develop functional specs for sub-assemblies and integrated microwave assemblies.
• Release engineering design documentation.
• Guide development of automated product testing.
