Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Senior RF Engineer in Sunrise, FL to lead RF KPI analysis, drive network performance, and mentor staff. You will work with RF Engineers, analyze drive-test data, and develop RF feature plans for 4G/5G networks, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal capacity.

The role requires advanced RF knowledge, 3GPP LTE/NR experience, and analytics with SQL/Python. Hybrid work is allowed; onsite 3–4 days per week.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related field with 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience applying RF propagation principles, cellular theory, and LTE/NR specs (3GPP).
• Experience with Wireless 4G/5G Troubleshooting and optimization to improve KPIs.
• Experience with SQL/Python for automation and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects and develop RF coverage and performance strategies.
• Collaborate with RF engineers to resolve complex issues and improve network KPIs.
• Analyze drive test data and monitor statistical network performance.
• Provide capacity planning and growth strategies for radio networks.
• Mentor engineering staff and conduct training sessions.
