Our West Union, SC manufacturing plant is looking for a Senior RF Design Engineer to join our Wireless Hardware R&D team. In this role, you will design, modify, and manage activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production and release. You will serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move to completion and distribution. As a Senior RF Design Engineer, your involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle, from product release through maintenance and end-of-life decisions. You will also promote investigation and application of new technologies and industry trends to product management activities, ensuring that shipped products meet specifications and quality goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop new products, support existing products, and improve processes related to RF and communication design.
• Lead RF circuit design from concept to production for low-cost wireless communication products, including radio transceiver design and layout, RF pA, LNA, filters, matching, synthesizers, VCOs, and mixers.
• Conduct RF circuit measurements using laboratory spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.
• Verify that designs meet requirements through analysis, simulation, and measurement, and document results.
• Carry out field studies and system test activities.
• Provide design and project support in project leadership, regulation, reliability, and component selection.
• Provide technical support to factory, service, and other internal departments.
• Coordinate and verify the work of support staff (technicians and CAD Designers).
• Lead projects.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of related industrial experience.
• In-depth understanding of electronic circuits, RF circuits, and microwave theory.
• Good understanding of RF system and wireless communication system.
• Experience with FCC certification.
• Experience with advanced modeling and simulation.
• Knowledge of communication theory and digital signal processing is a plus.
