Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a Technical Product Manager for FPGA, RF & DSP in Huntsville, AL. You will own the strategy, roadmap, definition and lifecycle of RF, DSP and FPGA-based COTS solutions, translating complex concepts into market-ready products.

Ideal candidates have a strong engineering background and experience in RF/DSP/FPGA technologies, with a track record of defining requirements, evaluating tradeoffs, and guiding products from concept through launch in defense/aerospace contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or closely related technical discipline
• 7+ years in RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics or defense/embedded markets
• Strong understanding of FPGA architectures, RF systems and DSP concepts
• Understanding RF-to-digital signal chain incl. RF front ends, data converters, FPGA processing
• Experience translating technical concepts into product requirements and business cases
• Experience in embedded electronics/software and evaluating tradeoffs

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain product strategy for RF/DSP and FPGA solutions within portfolio
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on customer needs and tech trends
• Translate requirements and tradeoffs into product strategies and requirements
• Develop business cases for new products and present to executives
• Lead concept definition and NPI from requirements to launch
• Evaluate competitive technologies and form factors
• Manage product-line revenue, cost, profitability and investments
• Collaborate with engineering to define requirements and priorities
• Engage with sales and customers to identify opportunities
• Prepare technical presentations, collateral and training materials
• Support secure customer engagements as needed
• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend enhancements
