Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Technical Product Manager responsible for RF, DSP, and FPGA-based embedded solutions. You will own strategy, roadmap, requirements, and lifecycle management across the product portfolio, collaborating with engineering, sales, and customers to define differentiating technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics or defense/embedded tech markets.
• Strong understanding of RF-to-digital signal chain, including RF front ends, data converters, FPGA processing, and DSP.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product strategy for RF/DSP/FPGA solutions.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on customer needs, tech trends, competitive intelligence, and business objectives.
• Translate system-level requirements and engineering tradeoffs into compelling product strategies and requirements.
• Develop business cases for new products and present recommendations to executive leadership.
• Lead product concept definition and support the NPI process from initial requirements through product launch.
• Evaluate competitive products, technologies, architectures, and relevant form factors.
• Partner with engineering to define product requirements, differentiation, and development priorities.
• Work with sales, customers, and partners to understand market requirements and identify new opportunities.
• Participate in customer engagements and provide technical support during complex discussions.
• Develop technical presentations, product collateral, training materials, and other product communications.
• Support secure customer engagements where required.
• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend product enhancements or lifecycle changes.
• Influence cross-functional teams and drive outcomes without direct authority.
• Communicate complex RF, DSP, FPGA, and embedded technologies clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
