Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Design and Analysis Engineer 4's for a hybrid (onsite/remote) opportunity in El Segundo, CA. The role demands hands-on leadership in RF and digital engineering, translating complex requirements into robust system architectures for satellite and avionics platforms.

The successful candidate will oversee design, testing, and supplier integration, while collaborating with customers to document requirements and drive technology investments for mission-critical programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
• 9+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience in RF/Digital engineering.

Responsibilities

• Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Oversees the design and build of multiple satellite and avionics units.
• Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
• Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
• Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
• Makes recommendations for technology investments.
