Raytheon in McKinney, Texas is seeking an onsite RF design engineer to develop passive RF circuits and EM modeling for antenna systems. You will work in the Airborne Antenna Design department, advancing radiator design and EM techniques, following established procedures with close collaboration to meet design objectives.

Requires a BS in STEM and 8+ years of experience in passive circuit design, EM modeling, and antenna engineering; experience with RF test equipment; knowledge of

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or a minimum of 8 years' prior relevant experience, to include any combination of the following.
• Experience in passive circuit design and EM modeling
• Experience with antenna engineering principles including phased array theory.
• Experience performing structured design processes, root-cause problem solving, and successful on-time / on-schedule task execution
• Experience with test equipment including Antenna Ranges, Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and / or Power Meters, etc

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and deployment of RF passive circuits and EM modeling.
• Advance radiator design and EM design through continual innovation.
• Follow established procedures and instructions with program leadership to meet objectives.
• Develop technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
• Travel may be periodically required
