Job summary

MPG is seeking an experienced RF engineer to design, analyze, document, and verify RF subassemblies, circuits, and systems up to 40 GHz. You will interface with PCB designers, production, and customers to ensure optimal RF performance and manufacturability.

The role requires hands-on laboratory work, proficiency with test equipment such as network/spectrum analyzers, and a track record of delivering robust RF solutions across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in RF filter, amplifier design and broadband RF systems.
• Knowledge of RF/microwave filter topologies and related circuits.
• Skilled in filter synthesis, simulation, and analysis software.
• Able to mentor others and work across desk and lab.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, document, and verify RF subassemblies and systems.
• Work independently on difficult specifications and designs.
• Interface with PCB designers to ensure RF performance of layouts.
• Collaborate with customers and business development to understand specifications.
• Interface with production to continually improve design methodologies.
• Create and manage engineering prototypes.
• Validate new designs to characterize total performance to failure.
• Respond to RFQ feasibility of electrical and mechanical specifications.
