Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to design and simulate RF circuits and components, including amplifiers, filters, and mixers. You will perform hands-on testing in the lab using spectrum and network analyzers for validation.

Role requires strong RF theory knowledge and experience with HFSS, ADS, Microwave Office, and Altium; Python or MATLAB for data analysis is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years RF engineering experience in hardware design or wireless.
• Experience with RF design tools: HFSS, ADS, Microwave Office, Altium.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate RF circuits and components, including amplifiers, filters, and mixers.
• Perform laboratory testing and validation using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and probe stations.
• Analyze and optimize gain, noise figure, VSWR, linearity, and phase noise.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, firmware developers, and project teams throughout design, testing, and production.
• Use simulation tools and scripting languages to support RF design, automated testing, and data analysis.
