Job summary

General Motors is seeking an Senior RF Desense Engineer to identify, analyze, and resolve RF interference issues across next‑gen vehicle platforms. You will work hands‑on in testing, desense analysis, and validation of wireless systems including cellular, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, UWB.

Role emphasizes debugging across hardware, software, and systems teams, with a focus on RF testing, root-cause analysis, and mitigation strategies to ensure reliable vehicle connectivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of RF engineering, RF validation, or wireless systems development.
• Hands-on experience performing RF testing, troubleshooting, or desense analysis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate RF desense performance across vehicle systems and subsystems.
• Measure receiver sensitivity degradation caused by interference sources.
• Identify RF performance risks early in design and integration process.
• Support vehicle and subsystem RF troubleshooting activities.
• Perform conducted and OTA RF testing to validate performance.
• Develop and document test plans and validation activities.
