Northrop Grumman seeks a Sr Principal Systems Engineer - RF Communications to support the IDT on the Ground Based Mid-Course Defense program. The candidate should lead teams, deliver innovative RF solutions, and work on complex hardware/software RF systems in a fast-paced, non-remote environment.

Requirements include a STEM degree with 8+ years or advanced degrees with related experience, AESA familiarity, DOORS and Atlassian proficiency, and Agile mindset.

Qualifications

STEM Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years related experience; Master’s degree with 6 years; PhD 4 years.

Responsibilities

Perform system planning, integration, verification & validation, cost and risk analyses.
Convert customer requirements into complete system solutions within technical, schedule and cost constraints.
Conduct functional and timeline analyses, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition.
Experience with DOORS.
Experience with Atlassian tools.
Familiar with Agile terminology and practices.
Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance (Secret).
