Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior RF/Antenna Engineer to lead the design and analysis of RF systems and antennas for varied platforms. You will guide the team through concept, modeling, testing, and integration, while delivering innovative solutions on schedule.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to white papers and proposals, and work across disciplines to solve complex RF challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years RF/antenna design experience.
• Strong understanding of antenna theory and RF principles.
• Experience in designing, building, and testing prototype RF systems.
• Knowledge of RF propagation, link budgets, range estimates, cascade analysis, and system sensitivity assessments.
• Proficiency in electromagnetic and system simulation software: HFSS, ADS, Microwave Office, Keysight Genesys, WASP-NET, GRASP.
• Experience in ultrawideband phased array design and measurement.
• Experience in advanced reflector antenna design and measurement incl. multiband and phased array feeds.
• Experience using MATLAB and Python to process RF data.
• Hands-on with network/spectrum analyzers and power meters.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits like power supply design.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple fast-paced RF and antenna projects.
• Lead design teams and participate in design, development, and measurement of advanced RF systems and antennas.
• Mentor junior RF/antenna engineers.
• Design, model, analyze, and measure performance of antennas (reflectors, phased arrays).
• Design, model, analyze, and measure wideband RF front-ends.
• Contribute to fabrication and assembly of prototype RF systems and antennas.
• Lead author for white papers/customer proposals/IRAD proposals.
• Act as SME for RF system and antenna design across teams.
• Work independently on tasks while collaborating with multidisciplinary team.
