Job summary

Jamie Grayem is seeking an RF and Analog Design Engineer in Westlake Village, CA, hybrid remote. The role focuses on developing multi‑GHz TIAs tightly coupled with high‑performance equalizers for coherent long‑haul, metro, and PAM4 data‑center systems.

You will lead edge transimpedance amplifier design in SiGe BiCMOS, collaborate across teams, mentor junior designers, and drive chips from concept to silicon and mass production, with a competitive base salary, bonus, relocation, and stock equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with RF/Analog focus and 10–15 years of experience
• Or MSc/PhD EE with 5+ years in the same focus
• Proven IC design experience including tape-out and lab evaluation
• Experience with EDA CAD tools and analog layout
• Strong communication and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Active circuit design and technical leadership.
• Lead-edge transimpedance amplifier design, primarily in SiGe BiCMOS technology.
• Develop transmission-line and millimeter-wave structures for higher performance.
• Design high-performance broadband analog circuits for optical front-end receivers.
• Design additional analog circuits including regulators, AGC, sensors, bandgaps, etc.
• Mentor junior circuit designers and guide chips to silicon and mass production.
