Job summary

Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, seeks a strategic Total Rewards leader in Waltham, MA to shape compensation programs for a global business. You will leverage Excel models, Power BI, and advanced analytics to advise leaders and design attractive, cost-effective rewards aligned with business goals.

You will partner with HR teams worldwide to implement annual compensation planning, deliver insights, and continuously improve the colleague experience across functions and regions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of Total Rewards experience in multinational organizations.
  • Experience supporting global employee populations.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the review, design, implementation, and communication of broad-based compensation programs for a large business group.
  • Provides recommendations to attract, motivate, and retain talent globally.
  • Works to develop innovative Total Rewards programs to continually improve colleagues' experience.
  • Assesses market practices and position to recommend cost-competitive compensation aligned with objectives using Excel models, Power BI, and analytics.
  • Manages annual total compensation planning for assigned organizations with leadership and HR teams.
  • Develops analytical data on internal compensation issues with HR Partners.
  • Participates in design, development and delivery of corporate compensation programs with research support.
  • Acts as a project member on compensation initiatives.
  • Develops metrics to inform HR leadership and influence decision-making with timely analytics.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Participates in the review, design, implementation, and communication of broad-based compensation programs for a large business group in Thermo Fisher Scientific.
  • Provides recommendations that will enhance the company's ability to attract, motivate, and retain talents across the world.
  • Works together with the team to support the develop innovative programs where appropriate to deliver a continuous improvement in our colleagues' experience with Total Rewards.
  • Assesses competitive market practices and organizational market positioning to recommend cost-competitive compensation proposals aligned with business objectives, using advanced Excel financial models, Power BI, and statistical analysis programs and develop data-driven recommendations.
  • Manages implementation of the annual total compensation planning process for assigned organizations in close coordination with functional leaders, human resource teams, and managers.
  • Develop strong analytical data on internal compensation issues and practices in collaboration with HR Business Partners to make recommendations.
  • Participates and support in the design, development and delivery of corporate compensation programs and initiatives by providing consultation along with research and analytical support.
  • Acts as a project member on various compensation projects.
  • Develops metrics and analytics to inform HR leadership on compensation programs to inform and influence decision-making through timely, accurate analytics and data-driven business recommendations.
What We Look For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Human Resources, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in Total Rewards within multinational organizations.
  • Experience supporting global employee populations in large, growing organizations.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, scaling business environments while managing increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Proven expertise in compensation analysis, market benchmarking, total rewards program design, and compensation planning.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, formulas, analytics, dashboards, and data visualization.
  • Experience utilizing Power BI and statistical analysis tools to develop actionable business insights.
  • Experience developing financial models and translating complex data into business recommendations.
  • Knowledge of Workday is preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, interpret data, and influence decision-making.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse global teams and business partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage competing priorities and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
  • Support merger and acquisition integrations.
  • Willingness to work flexibly across international time zones.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as business needs require.
