Job summary

Clario, a Thermo Fisher Scientific company, seeks an Imaging Operations Coordinator I to support imaging studies by ensuring accurate receipt, processing, tracking, and management of clinical trial imaging data.

You will work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment, handling data entry, quality checks, and communications with study teams and sites to keep projects on track. This role offers remote and hybrid work options where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Process imaging and study‑related data for assigned clinical trials.
  • Review, track, monitor, and validate data from sites to ensure accuracy and protocol compliance.
  • Enter, upload, and manage imaging data within study databases.
  • Identify and escalate data discrepancies for resolution.
  • Communicate with study teams and sites to obtain required information.

Education

High school diploma
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Bioscience/Computer Science/Information Technology or related field

As an Imaging Operations Coordinator I, you will play a critical role in supporting imaging studies by ensuring the accurate receipt, processing, tracking, and management of clinical trial imaging data. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Process imaging and study‑related data for assigned clinical trials.
  • Review, track, monitor, and validate data received from clinical sites to ensure accuracy, completeness, and protocol compliance.
  • Verify data transmittal documentation and confirm appropriate media and expected patient data are received.
  • Enter, upload, and manage imaging data within study databases and perform image preparation activities.
  • Identify, investigate, and escalation data discrepancies to appropriate study team members for resolution.
  • Process web‑submitted study data and maintain accurate study records.
  • Communicate with internal study teams and clinical sites to obtain required information and resolve data‑related inquiries.
  • Ensure timely processing of study data and generation of site communications to support client satisfaction.
  • Support departmental initiatives, prepare workflow documentation, and assist with troubleshooting operational issues.
  • Maintain study databases, prepare and ship study materials, review departmental documentation, and perform other assigned operational activities.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
  • Participate in company-sponsored training and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
What We Look For
  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Bioscience, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with computer hardware and software applications.
  • Familiarity with PC-based systems and common business software, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Experience navigating network environments, managing file structures, and transferring files and folders.
  • Knowledge of clinical research, drug development, clinical trials processes, or pharmaceutical industry operations preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high‑quality work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Professional, positive, and customer‑focused approach to work.
  • Ability to perform computer-based work for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% as business needs require.
