Farnsworth Group is seeking a Senior Revit Technician - Structural in one of the locations listed below. In this role, you will assist structural engineers by providing building information modeling (BIM).

Posting Locations:

• Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center)
• Normal, IL
• Peoria, IL
• Phoenix, AZ
• St. Louis, MO

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare Structural Revit models of buildings of varying types.
2. Prepare Structural construction documents including plans, elevations, details, and schedules.
3. Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines.
4. Perform redline drafting.
5. Read and duplicate existing structural plans for use in building additions or renovations.
6. Assist with onboarding new employees in Revit training.
7. Participate on BIM team coordinating standards with the structural team.
8. Participate on the Structural Standards Committee, updating the structural detail library and standards.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2. Proficiency in Revit, specifically for structural modeling.
3. 6+ years of experience with Revit.
4. Understanding of typical structural details and plans.
5. Ability to initiate structural models and details with minimal supervision.
6. Strong visualization skills in 2D and 3D.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Experience with Building Structures and Navisworks is preferred.
9. Revit or Autodesk Certification is preferred.
