Job summary

Kimley-Horn’s Orlando, FL office is looking for an experienced Designer to join our Water and Wastewater, Utilities team. The role focuses on producing civil and mechanical construction documents for water treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and related facilities using Revit and Civil 3D.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, advanced Autodesk skills, and a strong detail-oriented, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Create civil and mechanical construction documents for water/wastewater projects using Revit and Civil 3D/CAD.
• Develop and check drawings; ensure quality control.
• Possibly supervise others and train staff on Autodesk software.
• Maintain drawing database and coordinate work with project engineers to meet schedules.
