Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking an experienced CAD Operator to join our Water Wastewater and Utilities team in Phoenix, AZ. You will develop technical drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D and Revit, and prepare civil construction documents for wastewater lift stations and pipelines.

You will work closely with the project engineer, perform quality checks on complex drawings, and may supervise CAD staff while maintaining drawing databases and schedules in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Create civil construction documents for wastewater lift stations, pump stations, pipelines and utility work using CAD software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and Revit.
• Develop technical drawings and plans; perform quality checks on drawings of substantial complexity.
• Coordinate with project engineers/designers; maintain drawing databases and schedules.
• May supervise and train CAD staff and ensure adherence to Kimley-Horn’s standards.
• Maintain familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.
