Job summary

United Way of Greater Los Angeles is seeking a detail‑driven Senior Revenue Processing Accountant (Temp) to advance our financial processes through automation and AI. You will process and reconcile charitable revenue, manage gift-related activity, and support payout workflows in a hybrid DTLA-based role.

The position requires 5+ years of accounting experience, a solid foundation in internal controls, and comfort using Sage Intacct with CRM integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Experience in financial process improvement operations.
• Hybrid environment with in-person DTLA office on select days.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to streamline manual accounting and gift-processing activities.
• Assist with automation and AI-supported tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Reconcile pledge, payment, payout, and revenue activity across systems.
• Prepare and import revenue and payout data into Sage Intacct.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities for gift processing and revenue accounts.
• Document processes and maintain audit trails for transactions.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and other departments to resolve issues.
