Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a Technical Revenue Accounting Manager to strengthen revenue infrastructure for complex software platform deals. You will collaborate with sales, finance, engineering, and customer success to ensure scalable processes and accurate reporting for public company readiness.

The role requires expert ASC 606 knowledge, technical accounting memos, and a track record of building scalable revenue operations in a high-growth software environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations or sales operations, with a focus on software businesses.
• Deep understanding of ASC 606 and experience with complex, multi-year software platform contracts and revenue recognition.
• Demonstrated experience preparing technical accounting memos for revenue recognition and other complex transactions.
• Experience building and scaling processes in a high-growth environment.
• Experience leading or working closely with a deal desk, including deal review, approval workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
• Excellent analytical, process improvement, and project management skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling financial data

Responsibilities

• Review, structure, and approve complex bundled deals with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare technical accounting memos for ASC 606 and complex revenue transactions.
• Own revenue recognition policies and update guidance to maintain ASC 606 compliance.
• Process and review customer orders in Salesforce and NetSuite, ensuring data integrity across systems.
• Establish processes for determining SSP for existing and new products.
• Support monthly close, revenue forecasting, and audit readiness activities.
• Prepare revenue disclosures for annual and quarterly financial statements.
• Support SOX controls and public company reporting standards.
• Oversee interdepartmental collaboration to address process gaps and improve revenue predictability.
