Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP is seeking a Senior Analyst, Revenue Management in New York (hybrid). The role supports the Client Accounting team by monitoring billing inventory, preparing routine reports and assisting with monthly forecasting and follow-up on outstanding balances.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience, with strong MS Office skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of firm software programs (Aderant, StarCollect, Outlook, Excel, Word) and ability to learn new systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups).
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and planning skills; high attention to detail.
• Capable of handling sensitive matters with confidentiality; works well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Lead Analyst to review outstanding balance reports for reporting accuracy and follow-up actions.
• Conduct monthly reviews with Client Accounting Billing Managers and Supervisors on balances.
• Identify items requiring follow-up and track next steps and status updates.
• Support monthly forecasting process for the accounting function.
• Assist with billing and collections escalation as needed.
• Provide daily updates to the global billing team on goals and status.
