Job summary

Orthopedic Physicians Alaska seeks a Revenue Cycle Manager to lead on-site billing operations at the Anchorage, AK office. The role reports to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management and drives performance through metrics review and staffing decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in medical billing/revenue cycle, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of NextGen systems, coding rules, and payer contracts. This is an on-site, full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in medical office management with Revenue Cycle Management experience.
• Experience with medical coding and payer contract compliance.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Revenue Cycle Department and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with RCM Director to meet department expectations and review month-end reports.
• Develop and update training guides for new staff and ensure staff are trained.
• Enforce credit and collection policies and oversee timely refunds.
• Plan and direct RCM departments to ensure accurate patient billing and timely claims submission.
• Conduct quarterly reviews and provide regular feedback to staff.
