Job summary

Ovation Healthcare seeks a Director, Accounts Receivable to lead hospital AR performance across clients and facilities. The role accelerates cash, reduces aging, and improves net revenue realization by guiding billing, follow-up, denials, and payer escalations through a metrics-driven operating model.

You will partner with executives, vendors, and internal leaders to deliver measurable outcomes. Responsible for standardizing workflows, driving improvements, and developing managers and teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, healthcare administration, finance, or accounting.
• Minimum seven years of progressive hospital revenue cycle experience with AR/billing/denials leadership.
• Experience leading managers/teams and presenting to senior executives.
• Experience in outsourced revenue cycle or shared-services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct AR operations across hospitals and clients, including billing, follow-up, denials, and vendor activities.
• Set targets for cash collections, A/R days, aging, and write-offs; monitor and intervene when off plan.
• Own recurring revenue cycle reporting and drive root-cause analysis and action plans.
• Lead initiatives to accelerate cash, reduce denials, and recover underpayments.
• Partner with hospital executives and cross-functional teams to drive performance.
• Support system implementations and process improvements in the revenue cycle.
