Sweetwater Care is seeking an AR Director to lead the accounts receivable team and drive revenue growth through accurate billing and process improvements.

You will collaborate with patient access, coding, and quality improvement to ensure timely, compliant billing and to analyze trends for optimization. The role requires healthcare billing knowledge, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role, with a focus on accounts receivable.
• Strong understanding of healthcare billing regulations and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems.
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and oversight to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve revenue cycle processes, reducing days outstanding and increasing cash flow.
• Collaborate with other departments, including patient access, coding, and quality improvement, to ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies, patients, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as HIPAA and ICD-10.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to address billing errors and denials.
