Job summary

Essen Health Care in New York is seeking a Senior Revenue Cycle (RCM) Analyst to design and support analytics across revenue cycle functions, building dashboards and KPI metrics to drive improvements.

The Business Analyst will collaborate with IT, clinical and operations teams to identify opportunities, document workflows, and optimize RCM processes while aligning with organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, finance, computer science or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience managing and support EMR.
• Two (2) years of experience working as a systems analyst with hands-on applications experience.
• Experience analyzing complex issues and/or requests to provide effective solutions with the ability to identify root cause, communicate options and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess Revenue Cycle reports, workflows, and processes.
• Assess the business use and functions of Revenue Cycle application systems providing recommendations for optimization as appropriate.
• Revenue Cycle related problems and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Conduct Revenue Cycle analysis by running, reviewing, interpreting and validation reports.
• Performs quality assurance audits.
• Acts as a subject matter expert and advocate for the EMR application supported, requiring depth and breadth in their knowledge of the business, technologies, and integration with other clinical applications.
