Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Accountant in Stamford, CT to own revenue accounting, billing execution, and cost analysis. You will manage accounts receivable oversight and support monthly close, reporting, and dashboards.

The role requires a strong understanding of revenue recognition (ASC 606) and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, FP&A, and Strategic Accounts teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in revenue accounting and ASC 606.
• Manages journal entries, close processes, and reconciliations.
• Partners with operations and FP&A to analyze costs and revenue trends.
• Handles billing through to invoice issuance and AR oversight.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support financial reporting packages and management dashboards.
• Perform variance and trend analysis to explain revenue and cost fluctuations.
• Execute revenue recognition activities in line with ASC 606 guidance.
• Maintain revenue schedules and supervise journal entries.
