Job summary

Alogent, headquartered in Peachtree Corners, GA, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead revenue accounting and near-term close improvements. This hybrid role (3–4 days in office) reports within Corporate Accounting and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

CPA is preferred; SaaS knowledge is a plus. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements to shorten the close, oversee ERP transitions, and guide staff through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on journal entries, reconciliations, and transactional accounting.
• 4+ years of deep ASC 606 knowledge.
• 1+ years of people-management experience.
• CPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain deep expertise in U.S. GAAP revenue recognition, including ASC 606 and SaaS subscriptions.
• Interpret and analyze customer contracts to extract key financial implications.
• Lead the monthly close and reporting process (revenue and expense) including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure integrity of financial reporting and maintain internal controls across accounting processes.
• Prepare technical memos and support annual audits.
• Drive ERP implementation efforts and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with Technology, Sales, and Operations to ensure data integrity and scalable processes.
