  • Take ownership of the revenue close calendar, team assignments, account reconciliations, review procedures, open-item tracking, and documented sign-offs.
  • Review revenue recognition and accrual methodologies for consistency, document identified issues, and recommend practical remediation for approval.
  • Improve recurring revenue reporting by connecting recognized revenue with operational activity, billing, collections, forecasts, customer commitments, and project performance.
  • Resolve priority accounting discrepancies, control gaps, data-quality issues, and documentation needs before year-end close and the annual audit.
  • Clarify day-to-day responsibilities, handoffs, escalation paths, and meeting routines across Accounting, Operations, Project Management, Billing, FP&A, Treasury, and IT.
