Job summary

Eightfold AI in Chicago area seeks a Senior Revenue Operations professional to oversee revenue recognition and related processes. You will work cross-functionally to ensure accurate reporting, data integrity, and compliance with ASC 606 in a hybrid environment.

The role requires 5+ years in revenue operations/public accounting, strong NetSuite experience, and a deep understanding of the Quote-to-Cash cycle. The team values rigor, ownership, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance/ Accounting or related field.
• Ability to interpret and apply GAAP, including hands-on ASC 606 application.
• Good understanding of data from across systems in Quote to Cash cycle.
• Experience in using NetSuite
• 5+ years of experience in revenue operations/public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper recognition of revenue, deferred revenue and unbilled receivable.
• Monitor and validate data on Sales Orders, Invoices, and Revenue Arrangements.
• Assist SSP analyses: review transactions for arrangement linkage, selling trends, and compliance.
• Perform partner referral reconciliation monthly/quarterly; ensure cost capitalization aligns with matching principal.
• Monitor system configurations including SKUs and fair value price list.
• Engage on special projects, including system implementation, UAT, and process documentation.
• Perform monthly/quarterly close tasks including revenue review, journal entries and accruals, account reconciliations and analysis.
• Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial reports and disclosures including Deferred Revenue, Backlog, and Revenue trends.
• Assist with external audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and automate manual tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence best practices.
• Be flexible to take on new ad hoc projects in a fast-paced environment.
