Mimecast Limited is seeking a Senior Analyst for Revenue Accounting Operations in North America. You will own revenue flux analysis, deferred revenue, and revenue journal entries for our SaaS business, partnering with Sales, Channel, Licensing & Renewals, and Collections to ensure GAAP compliance.

You will review deals daily for accuracy, support month-end close, and drive process improvements while applying AI tools to core revenue workflows.

Formación

• 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally in revenue accounting or a comparable role within a SaaS or subscription business.
• Hands-on experience with revenue journal entries, deferred revenue, account reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment in navigating complex accounting scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for non-accounting stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Own the North America revenue flux analysis each period and communicate results to Revenue leadership.
• Lead the monthly deferred revenue process with roll-forwards, reconciliations, and GL analysis.
• Prepare, review, and post revenue journal entries with supporting documentation per ASC 606.
• Review deals daily for accuracy, including non-standard terms, and escalate issues promptly.
• Serve as the primary Revenue Accounting Operations resource for internal partners.
• Contribute to process and control improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and walkthroughs.
