Job summary

Mason & Blair, LLC seeks a Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting to lead critical revenue accounting, revenue operations, and sales reporting functions in a dynamic SaaS/tech environment. This role reports to the SVP Controller and will direct complex revenue recognition matters, governance, and executive reporting across the revenue lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting.
• Deep expertise in revenue recognition standards and technical accounting guidance applicable to subscription, software, technology, services, and product-based business models.
• Significant experience evaluating complex commercial agreements and advising stakeholders on accounting and operational implications.
• Demonstrated success building and scaling teams within fast-growing, dynamic organizations.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence decision-making across multiple functions and organizational levels.
• Experience improving financial processes, controls, systems, and reporting capabilities within complex business environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior subject matter expert for revenue recognition and related accounting guidance.
• Lead the evaluation and documentation of complex revenue transactions, contract structures, pricing arrangements, and emerging business models.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, technical position papers, and governance frameworks supporting compliant financial reporting.
• Partner with business stakeholders to assess accounting implications of new products, services, partnerships, and commercial initiatives.
• Review non-standard customer agreements and provide guidance regarding accounting, operational, and reporting impacts.
