Job summary

Mimecast is seeking a Senior Analyst in Revenue Accounting Operations to serve as a subject matter expert on order-to-cash, contract reviews, and revenue recognition for our SaaS business. You will mentor junior analysts, lead process improvements, and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes while collaborating with Sales, Controllership, and Service Delivery.

The role requires US GAAP ASC 606 knowledge, ERP/CRM experience, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Revenue Accounting Operations or related role.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP with ASC 606.
• Experience with NetSuite or Salesforce.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to ensure accurate order approvals and proper reflection in systems.
• Review contracts and orders for compliance and accuracy.
• Perform revenue close activities and support reconciliations and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional resolution of complex discrepancies with Sales, Deal Desk, and Service Delivery.
• Manage workloads across NetSuite and Salesforce while balancing casework and oversight.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability of the revenue cycle.
• Provide training and review for junior analysts on the team.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and walkthroughs.
