Job summary

Mimecast Limited, a leading cybersecurity company, invites a Senior Analyst to join its Revenue Accounting Operations team in Lexington, MA. You’ll ensure accurate order-to-cash processing and ASC 606 compliance across SaaS contracts.

You’ll mentor junior analysts, drive efficiency, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes in a hybrid work model with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years in Revenue Accounting Operations, Order Management, or similar role.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce or similar ERP/CRM systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial/reporting analysis.
• SOX compliance or internal control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Finance to ensure accurate order-to-cash processing and revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities and support audits.
• Mentor junior analysts and drive process improvements across the revenue cycle.
• Manage reconciliations, schedules, and income statement adjustments in NetSuite/Salesforce.
• Respond to AR inquiries and support policy documentation for revenue processes.
