LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant in Bloomington, MN to manage accounting for revenue recognition under ASC 606 and support GAAP-compliant close processes.

The role requires hands-on experience with revenue contracts, public company exposure, and a comfort level with SOX controls. You will mentor junior staff and partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience with revenue recognition preferred or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience working for a public company.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and quarter-end close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review and analyze revenue contracts to ensure ASC 606 compliance.
• Prepare and review inventory standards and related entries.
• Ensure compliance with SOX internal control requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain GAAP adherence and identify process improvements.
