Job summary

HHAeXchange is seeking a Senior Accountant, Revenue Accounting to ensure accurate monthly close, ASC 606 compliance, with responsibilities spanning revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and commission accounting. You will partner with Order-to-Cash, Revenue Ops, Sales, and FP&A to reflect transactions from contract through financial reporting.

Qualifications include 4+ years in accounting with ASC 606 in a SaaS/tech setting, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close and financial reporting.
• 2+ years supporting ASC 606 revenue accounting in SaaS/healthcare tech.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers.
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Experience accounting for deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, contract modifications, commissions.
• Advanced Excel skills, pivots, lookups, data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• CPA certification or active progress toward CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review revenue recognition and billing schedules to support reporting.
• Analyze contracts, amendments, renewals, and commercial arrangements for ASC 606 treatment.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and supporting documentation.
• Maintain account reconciliations, schedules, and variance analyses.
• Investigate fluctuations and resolve discrepancies impacting reporting.
• Prepare revenue-related journal entries and schedules.
• Support internal and external audit requests and disclosures.
• Collaborate with NetSuite, Salesforce, and admins to ensure data accuracy.
