GXO Logistics is seeking a Senior Accountant to perform key accounting functions for domestic and international operations. You will influence GXO’s future through sound advice and reporting in GAAP-compliant processes.

In this role, you’ll analyze revenue accruals, reconcile accounts, review contracts, and drive process improvements in a cross-functional environment. A CPA and ERP experience are preferred; bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 2-3 years of accounting or related experience.
• Solid math aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and calculate revenue accruals during the month-end close.
• Perform and review reconciliations for key accounts, including deferred revenue, deferred costs, unbilled accounts receivable, and unearned revenue.
• Review new customer contracts to determine proper revenue recognition (in accordance to ASC 606), lease accounting, etc.
• Perform ad hoc reporting to support multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment.
• Perform and ensure key controls within the Record-to-Report process are in place and functioning effectively.
• Prepare process documentation for key processes.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to drive process improvement.
• Develop and monitor KPIs that track progress toward continuous improvement.
• Ensure accurate and timely compilation of accounting information, analysis, and reporting in accordance with GAAP and Company policies and procedures.
