Job summary

GXO Logistics, a leading supply chain solutions provider, is seeking a Senior Accountant in the United States. You will manage month-end close revenue accruals, reconciliations, and contract reviews to ensure GAAP compliance while supporting cross-functional teams.

The role requires 2–3 years of accounting experience, solid math skills, and strong written and verbal communication. Experience with Oracle ERP and Oracle Projects is a plus; bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 2-3 years of accounting or related experience.
• Solid math aptitude.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and calculate revenue accruals during the month-end close.
• Perform and review reconciliations for key accounts, including deferred revenue, deferred costs, unbilled accounts receivable, and unearned revenue.
• Review new customer contracts to determine proper revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting, etc.
• Perform ad hoc reporting to support multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment, balancing their needs and perspectives to maximize the company’s interest.
• Perform and ensure key controls within the Record-to-Report process are in place and functioning effectively.
• Prepare process documentation for key processes.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to drive process improvement.
• Develop and monitor KPIs that track progress toward continuous improvement.
• Ensure accurate and timely compilation of accounting information, analysis, and reporting in accordance with GAAP and Company policies and procedures.
• Other duties, as assigned
