Job Title: Senior Revenue Accountant

Pay Range: $54.73 - $57/Hr

Job Description:

• Our client is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to its Accounting team.
• This is a crucial role that will assist in overseeing revenue accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.
• The role provides significant growth opportunity, encompassing day-to-day controllership duties as well as involvement in various project-based initiatives.
• The candidate should expect to leverage current skill-sets while also focusing on learning quickly and adding value to current processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the monthly close process and reconciliations for revenue.
• Collaborate with the financial analytics data team, payment operations team, and other internal partners to determine accounting requirements for new platform projects and reconcile payment processor activity.
• Drive process improvements to reduce the Accounting Close Cycle duration.
• Document and implement revenue accounting processes and internal controls.
• Perform flux analyses for parts of the balance sheet.
• Manage external audits, including preparation and ongoing support.
• Ensure SOX compliance for revenue accounting.
• Perform special, ad-hoc projects in Accounting/Finance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA license preferred.
• 3+ years in accounting, including public accounting experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent accounting research and problem-solving skills.
• Highly detail-oriented and capable of multitasking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications; experience with Oracle is strongly preferred.
• Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team.
