Leoforce in Oklahoma City is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our finance team, focusing on revenue recognition, financial reporting, and internal controls.

The role covers ASC 606 compliant revenue recognition, month-end close, audits, budgeting, and collaboration with sales and operations to ensure accurate billing and timely collections. A CPA/CMA and 5+ years in energy finance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the energy industry.
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end close process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue per ASC 606.
• Maintain and reconcile revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable ledgers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in budgets and forecasts and analyze variances.
• Collaborate with sales and operations for accurate billing and collections.
• Ensure internal controls compliance.
• Assist with audit schedules and liaise with auditors.
• Participate in special projects as required.

We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced and rapidly evolving energy industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in our finance department, with a focus on revenue recognition, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end close process, including the preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in accordance with ASC 606.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and analyze variances to actuals.
• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and collection.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the energy industry.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles under ASC 606.
• Proficiency in general ledger systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
