Qualifications

• Knowledge of oil & gas operations and revenue processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with industry-specific accounting and document management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and timely record oil, gas, and NGL revenue transactions for multiple entities.
• Prepare revenue allocations and related journal entries.
• Reconcile field sales documentation to purchaser statements.
• Prepare and file severance tax reports and payments across multiple states.
• Prepare federal and state royalty reporting and payments.
• Manage state reporting requirements, including withholding filings and reconciliations.
• Incorporate newly acquired assets and properties into established accounting processes.
• Generate and analyze monthly operational and financial reports.
• Support the monthly close process and ensure established deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, land administration, and management.
• Contribute to team objectives while working independently.

• Prepare revenue allocations and related journal entries.
• Reconcile field sales documentation to purchaser statements.
• Prepare and file severance tax reports and process payments across multiple states.
• Prepare federal and state royalty reporting and associated payments.
• Manage additional state reporting requirements, including withholding filings and annual reconciliations.
• Incorporate newly acquired assets and properties into established accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of revenue accounting experience within the oil and gas industry.
• Working knowledge of oil and gas operations and revenue processes.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet recurring deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience with industry-specific accounting and document management systems is preferred.
