Job summary

NextStep Recruiting partners with a confidential oil & gas company to identify a Revenue Accountant for its Fort Worth office. This role supports revenue accounting across an active energy portfolio, working closely with Accounting, Land, Engineering and leadership.

You will prepare revenue calculations and entries for oil, gas, and NGL sales, manage data in industry systems, and assist month-end close, audits, and tax reporting as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 years of revenue accounting experience in oil & gas.
• Understanding of oil, gas, and NGL revenue accounting processes.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to learn industry-specific accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities
