Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring for retread production roles at our Portland, OR facility. Employees will participate in recapping, remolding and extending tire life to get tires back on the road.

These positions offer weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, with a Monday–Friday schedule and flexible start times between 3 AM and 6 AM. We value candidates with 3–5 years of production experience and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread viability.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust and repair the casing.
• Apply patch or cement to repair casing before new tread.
• Build tire by applying new tread.
• Cure the tire to set the retread application.
• Perform final inspection for safety and quality.
