Job summary

Guardian Life is seeking a Retirement Plan Manager for a hybrid role (3 days in office per week) located in multiple sites including Bethlehem and NYC area. You’ll govern defined contribution, defined benefit and executive retirement programs, ensuring compliance, risk management and strong participant experience.

You will partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to evolve retirement programs, drive process improvements, and implement new services while aligning with Guardian’s long-term

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of retirement plan administration or governance experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA fiduciary requirements and retirement governance practices.
• Proven ability to manage complex retirement programs and risk.
• Experience supporting vendor relationships and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support retirement strategy, plan design and project management for defined contribution, defined benefit and executive plans.
• Assess program effectiveness via benchmarking, market analysis and participant outcomes.
• Lead implementation of new programs with end-to-end processes.
• Maintain controls, documentation and oversight across all plans.
• Coordinate nondiscrimination testing, regulatory filings and audits with service providers.
