Job summary

Willis Towers Watson is seeking a Retirement Plan Compliance Analyst to support attorneys by drafting and amending pension plan documents, SPDs, summaries of modifications, and related communications. The role involves ensuring ERISA compliance, maintaining document libraries, and mentoring staff on drafting best practices.

The position requires 5+ years of experience, a strong understanding of ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience drafting, amending, and tracking changes to pension documents (defined benefit and defined contribution).
• Detailed understanding of ERISA and Internal Revenue Code.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical, writing and verbal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan drafting: Draft/amend defined benefit and defined contribution plan documents and notices.
• Compliance: Ensure documents comply with ERISA and federal laws; follow audit protocols.
• Document management: Organize, maintain, and update plan documents; ensure accessibility.
• Training: Train and mentor staff on plan drafting and compliance.
• Client communication: Provide guidance on plan language to internal teams and clients.
• Project management: Manage multiple clients/projects; track progress and deadlines.
